Information gathered from the eMAT will help us to better understand women’s health in pregnancy including:
Progress (OR What has been done so far?): A total of 1488 women have completed the eMAT (320 pregnant women and 1,179 postpartum). Participants represent more than 13 countries. Two manuscripts have been submitted for publication.
Short and long-term goals (OR What is our overall goal?): We hope to use the information gathered through this project to support women’s health and needs in pregnancy by developing new and improved interventions for pregnant women (i.e., SmartMoms Canada-a mobile health application for women during and after pregnancy) AND updating current tools supporting this population (i.e., 5As of Health Pregnancy Weight Gain- a tool developed for health care providers to discuss weight management during pregnancy).
Feel free to “Contact Us” if you have any other questions.
Thank you for your participation in the EMat!
